About us

Experimental Factory of Scientific Engineering with Special Design Department (EZAN) is a Federal State Unitary Enterprise of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The enterprise was founded in 1973  to provide the scientific and research institutes of the USSR Academy of Sciences and other organizations with highly complicated equipment and instruments.

The factory was specialized in production of high-vacuum systems, instruments for investigation of structure and chemical analysis of materials, as well as automation and data processing equipment. 

Nowadays EZAN develops and produces a wide range of equipment for science, industry, telecommunications, transport, and energetics.

Main areas of the enterprise activity:

• Development and production of analytical instruments and equipment for the unique high-end technologies
• Development and production of digital telecommunications equipment
• Development and production of software and hardware for creation of automation systems and technological processes monitoring systems
• Development of modern distributed control systems, embedded systems and real-time systems
• Development and production of special purpose equipment
• Development and production of mechanical structures of the 19" standard
