A meeting of the Working Committee INFOC- Information and Communication of the European Business Congress was held in Paris, France. The subject of the meeting was “Prospects of the communication services providers market under unstable conditions. Technologies and investment solutions ”. EZAN General Director, Dr. Vladimir Borodin gave a talk “Experience of local production of foreign telecommunication equipment”.

Tests of automated equipment NIKA-PROFILE

EZAN & Rostox-N" (www.rostox-n.ru) successfully completed test brand new automated equipment NIKA-PROFILE for growing large single crystals of synthetic corundum (sapphire) by Stepanov /EFG method. Mass production of 300x170x15 mm sapphire ribbons was started. The first experimental samples of 500x250x15 mm single crystals were obtained.

New Horizontal Boring Machine HBM-4

The up-to-date horizontal boring machine HBM-4 manufactured by Buffalo Company has been commissioned to allow us high-accuracy manufacture of chambers of up to 1500 mm in diameter and up to 1800 mm in height.

International project SESAME

EZAN was invited to take part in the international consortium on development of the up-to-date energy efficiency enabling systems – SESAME (SEmantic SmArt Metering – Enablers for Energy Efficiency); the mail role of the factory in this project consists in development and production of Data Acquisition and Transmission Devices.

Innovative business in Russia

The Minister of Economic Development, Mrs. Elvira Nabiullina, the Minister of Science and Education, Mr. Andrey Fursenko and the General Director of ROSNANO, Mr. Anatoly Chubais, have discussed the problems of the innovative business in Russia. The meeting took place in Chernogolovka in the RAS Innovation Center.

The Session of RF Committee of the State Duma at EZAN

For the first time the visiting session of RF Committee of the State Duma on industry has taken place in Chernogolovka at EZAN on a topic: “Business environment and prospects for development of the innovative federal state unitary enterprises in terms of the Experimental Factory of Scientific Engineering of Russian Academy of Science”.
