SONET Series Controllers
SONET series controllers are intended for creation of multi-level distributed PCSs. The controllers are the project configurable articles and are able to perform functions of the managing controllers, remote input/output controllers and programmable logic controllers (PLC).
The managing controller carries out data exchange with the engineering and operator stations and with other managing controllers through Ethernet. In order to manage the remote input/output controllers and the programmable logic controllers use is made of the serial interface RS-485, interaction is provided using the MODBUS RTU protocol.
High noise immunity, channel-by-channel galvanic isolation, capability of duplication of input/output channels and communication channels, as well as capability of controller hot backup provide reliability and safety of the designed systems.

The variety of input/output modules gives a possibility to control directly the different equipment. All modules have detachable terminals on the front panel for connection of wires with cross-section up to 2.5 mm. The controllers have space-saving sizes (HxDxW: 130x145x315 or 407 mm depending on a version for installation of 5 or 8 input-output modules). Electric power supply voltage is from 110 V to 260 V DC/AC. A four-level galvanic isolation (+5V/5А for power supply of the processor section and +24V/0.6A for power supply if “dry” contacts and relay windings on the side of the input/output modules and on the side of the data transmission interface) provides high reliability of the controller operation. |
