Microprocessor modules
The microprocessor module is based on the RISC microcontroller of AVR family and performs the following functions:
- Data exchange with the top level equipment through the interface RS-485 via protocol MODBUS at a rate of up to 115.2 Kbaud; - Data management, data exchange and scanning of analog and discrete input/output modules condition with the use of the common bus through the interface I2C;
- Input and preliminary processing of signals coming from the analog and discrete input modules;
- Output of discrete and analog signals;
- Continuous automatic self-testing which allows monitoring the serviceability of the communication lines (timeout detection, data integrity) and input/output modules.
