Scientific and production equipment

     Since 1973 the factory was specialized in production of high-vacuum and ultrahigh-vacuum systems, instruments for investigation of structure and chemical analysis of materials, as well as automation and data processing equipment. Production of analytical instruments and equipment for the unique high-end technologies is a traditional sphere of EZAN activities. Before 1992, this type of products represented the main volume of the factory production. From the moment of establishment to the present day the factory has manufactured and delivered to the customers a whole range of complex instruments which determine a level of scientific instrument-making in the country: molecular beam epitaxy equipments, electronic microscopes MREM-100, electronic spectrometers, and quadrupole mass spectrometers, Mossbauer spectrometers, mass-spectrometers of MX series, electronic radio spectrometers, nuclear-magnetic-resonance spectrometers, ultra-centrifuges K32M, automatic calorimeters DAK-1 and DAK-2, ultrahigh-vacuum chambers USU-4 and USU-6, Auger spectrometers, high-speed electron diffractometers DE-1201, liquid chromatographs, micromanipulators KM-2, equipment and devices meeting the international standard CAMAC and many other instruments.

      Nowadays EZAN is the largest production company as a member of the Russian Academy of Sciences and one of the largest instrument-making organizations in Russia. The factory develops and produces mass spectrometers, equipment for growing the shaped single crystals of oxides, equipment for high-precision etching and thin film deposition.
