Transistor frequency converters -100/20
The transistor frequency converter (generator) "ТПЧ-100/20" is a modern semiconductor device with IGBT modules in the power channel and signal microprocessors in the control channel, equipped with all necessary protections and interlocks. In early 2009 we successfully tested a “ТПЧ-100/20” and started its serial production.
Its high efficiency ensures energy saving and reduction of power costs.
High power factor allows to reduce 50 Hz reactive currents in input power cables and transformer substations of a facility with reduction in number and capacity of balancing cosine capacitors in the substations.
The device operates at a load resonance frequency within the whole range of output power. To this purpose the load receives only active power from the device with almost no power loss caused by the flow of 10 kHz reactive currents in connecting cables. This ensures minimum heating of cables and increases their service life as well as reduces their electromagnetic radiation into the environment.
Transformer galvanic isolation of the “ТПЧ-100/20” and the load ensures high electrical safety of operators.
Extended power range is necessary for processes with controlled slow cooling.
High-precision control of the device power allows for step control with an increment of about 1.5 W.
High output power stability at supply voltage fluctuations within ±10% is ensured by a special power stability mechanism. For example, in crystal growing processes with induction heating the stabilization mechanism ensures stability for more than 0.1% of the device output power.
