Mass-spectrometer MTI-350G

Mass-spectrometer MTI-350G is intended for carrying-out the automatic analysis of uranium isotopes content in gas phase and for control over the isotopic composition of uranium hexafluoride. Instrument application area includes control over the process lines of the separation production in industrial and laboratory conditions. The instrument can be used in the incoming inspection of the nuclear fuel cycle enterprises.

Technical solutions underlying the MTI-350G, design serve as a basis for creation of a model range of mass-spectrometers of different purpose.

Used in the mass-spectrometer is a number of original assemblies and systems which serve to obtain high analytical characteristics of the instrument:

  • ion-optical system with high dispersion;
  • ion source with molecular mode of sample leakage into the ionization chamber;
  • ion multi-collector with adjusted position of collectors;
  • puffing system with decreased consumption of sampling substance;
  • electronic part executed with application of the modern hardware components;
  • controller computer on the basis of the advanced reliability industrial computer;
  • specialized software performing control over the instrument and automatic measurement of isotopic composition.

Mass-spectrometer is assembled in the form of four stands: analytical stand, electronic stand, puffing stand, operator’s workstation

The instrument is registered in the State Register of Measuring Instruments, No. 23457-02. Certificate RU.C.31.005.A No. 13014.
