ENE-04 multiplexer

The ENE-04 multi-service multiplexer is designed for generating Е1 digital signals at a bit rate of 2.048 Mbit/s through multiplexing a wide range of analog and digital data signals. The ENE-04 is compatible with SDH equipment developed by EZAN/NEC and is supported by the Qport

network management system.

 Main features:

  • CTbus H.110 for switching 2048 timeslots, 64 Е1 tributaries;
  • Capable of housing up to 17 channel modules per crate;
  • Distributed control, power supply and cross-connect functions;
  • Hot swapping of similar modules;
  • Management and monitoring using the Qport network management system based on the SNMP protocol;
  • Can be mounted in a 19”and 21” rack;
  • Modern hardware components

Composition:

  • Crate with a CTBus Н.110;
  • System controller module;
  • Group and channel modules;
  • Power supply module.

Supported network topologies:

  • Point-to-point;
  • Add/drop;
  • Ring;
  • Star;
  • Mesh.

Interface packages:

  • 2-wire VF channel without signaling, ITU-Т G.712 (8 channels);
  • 2-wire VF channel with E&M signaling type 5, ITU-Т G.712 (4 channels);
  • 4-wire VF channel without signaling, ITU-Т G.712 (8 channels);

  • SHDSL, TC-PAM code, bit rate from 144 kbit/s to 2312 kbit/s, ITU-Т G.991.2 (4 channels).

Control:

  • Local control via the F interface (RS-232) using a terminal control program;
  • Local and remote control via the Q interface (Ethernet) using the QPort network management system based on the SNMP protocol.

Redundancy:

  • Hardware redundancy (using redundant units);
  • Software redundancy (2.048 Mbit/s aggregated stream redundancy)

Synchronization:

  • 2.048 MHz primary reference clock (ITU-Т G.703);
