INC-100MS



INC-100MS is a modern management system for communication networks created using the SDH and WDM equipment. The system is developed according to the TMN M.3010 ITU-T concept and is a system of network management level. The INC-100MS management system collects the alarm messages from all network elements and displays the common status by means of the color and audible announcement.

Domains and offices are shown in the main window. The domain color reflects a synthesis of the telecommunication equipment alarm messages whereas the office color reflects a synthesis of the life support sensors status.

    In order to create any path in the network it is sufficient to indicate the starting and ending point and the management system will prescribe automatically the cross-connect in each multiplexor involved. At that, the operator can select manually all path parameters, if necessary. In such a way the user’s flows Е1/Е3/Е4/nE4 (linkup) as well as Fast Ethernet/Gigabit Ethernet data transmission is configured.

    There is a possibility to customize filters by any parameters for highlighting the messages of interest in the alarm message log window.

    Provided is the support of servers hot backup (server pair 1+1), automated change of the network topology, collection of the equipment inventory data, subdivision of the users’ access rights, backup copying of the server and network element data base, day-to-day operation (switching over to backup, loops, switching-off of a laser, etc.), updating of the network elements built-in software, collection of information on quality of the user-specific Ethernet flows/sections/paths, management of the ring topologies (2F/4F-BLSR, RPR), etc.
