SpectralWave C-Node S1
The C-Node S1 compact multiplexerbelongs to the SDH first level. The multiplexer complies with ITU-Т recommendations, ETSI standards and general requirements of the Russian Ministry of Telecom & Mass Communications. It is used in metropolitan and regional area networks with different topologies. The C-Node S1 supports SDH, PDH and Fast Ethernet signals in various network configurations: linear and ring. 2 Mbit/s signals are encapsulated in SDH containers in an asynchronous manner. Ethernet signals are encapsulated in SDH containers using VC-12 virtual concatenation. The interface characteristics are in full compliance with the ITU-Т recommendations for optical signals and ETSI standards. PDH electrical interfaces comply with the requirements of ITU-T G.703. SDH optical interfaces comply with the requirements of ITU-T G.957. The C-Node S1 offers various types of interfaces. The interface blocks can be configured in different ways provided that the switching matrix capacity is not exceeded.
The C-Node S1 consists of a motherboard with two STM-1 ports, 8 tributaries of 2 Mbit/s, 2 Fast Ethernet ports (10/100 Base-T optional) and an expansion slot. The C-Node S1 multiplexer is managed and monitored by built-in microprocessors with special software. The equipment is provided with interfaces for automatic management system (Q interface) and for the LCT terminal (F interface). Other network elements are managed by NMS via Data Communication Channels (DCC) which are part of the STM-N overhead according to G.784 (Qecc protocol). The C-Node S1 configuration:
